Part of this contract included the construction of the viaduct over the marshland and the railway, an uneven intersection through a superior roundabout (2 superior passages) with its respective branches connecting the ENE10-8 and the ENE10-4 (Mitrena). The project was complex because of the compromise that had to exist between the service structure and the environmentally protected area (reserve of the Sado estuary), main issue regarding power lines of medium and high capacity and the Sines/ Setúbal pipeline (REN), the wharehouse park of REFER and also other pipelines from various entities. Also, this is an area with intense heavy traffic, that forced the implementation of several temporary detours.
